JUNKANOO COMMANDOS

The JUNKANOO COMMANDOS are a group of professional musicians, costume designers and makers, visual, performing and fine artists from the Bahamas. They have been travelling internationally throughout Europe, the Caribbean, America and UK conducting masterclasses, Junkanoo Workshops, community artists costume constructing classes, Junkanoo music, and Dance workshops, Junkanoo and Cultural presentations and Junkanoo performances at various Carnivals, Festivals and events globally.

The members have won individual awards in The Bahamas at their annual JUNKANOO parades in the following areas:

- Best Off The Shoulder Dancer Costume
- Best Choreograph Dancers
- Best Music
- Best Free Dancer

The areas listed above are the most coveted areas in JUNKANOO. The Government of the Bahamas is one of the many clients of the JUNKANOO COMMANDOS.

The JUNKANOO COMMANDOS are based in the Bahamas, but are able to mobilize on any continent or island around the globe.

All of the workshops are conducted by a professional building team of the Junkanoo Commandos.
