Rhythms
of the City is the beating heart of the F-IRE collective, a street

and play alongside one another. Together with star singers,

of Afro-Brazilian styles inlcuding samba, samba-reggae, maracatú plus
its own unique and revolutionary developments in samba-funk,
samba-hip-hop and even salsa!
It performs in various size from
5 to 50 people as appropriate to the events at which it appears.
These have been included in the past: Notting Hill Carnival,
WOMAD, Respect, Fruitstock, Coin Street, Rhythmsticks, Thames
and Islington festivals, Cargo, Carnaval del Pueblo, Pride, Shepherd’s
Bush Empire, Twickenham, The Millennium Dome...
