Bee 2

Bee 2

A potent incarnation of innovation, BEE2 unleashes energetic vocal delivery coupled with sophisticated musical sensibilities, and dexterous creative flair. Born in West London and emerging from a family of singers and musicians, BEE2 began singing at an exceptionally early age influenced by an intricate mélange of eastern/western music, his primary passion lay in traditional Punjabi folk music, which evoked an interest in studying the folk arts of Punjab. At the age of fourteen he was singing on stage as well as performing as a musician.

Taking on the responsibilities of Musical Director, the dedicated singer and musician toured the world with bhangra teams, displaying his talents around the world including U.K, Ireland, Brazil, India, Greece, Mexico, Holland, Hong Kong, Canada and Austria. Over the years BEE2’s musical fervor intensified. He would engage in vigorous vocal training schedules in both classical and Punjabi folk genres and began experimenting with his self-taught tumbi playing skills. As a result he developed and constructed the very first Electric tumbi with full range scale, thus securing his talent as a tumbi virtuoso.

After completing a degree in Sound Engineering at the University of London, BEE2 trained as a sound engineer & producer with highly celebrated, award-winning producer, composer and musician Kuljit Bhamra.  BEE2 now runs his own studio ‘THE SOUND PIPE’ where he produced his 2001 debut album ‘Recorded Delivery’ featuring the tracks ‘Soin Kuriye’ and ‘Da Seed’. Currently, BEE2 is busy touring America and Asia, running his studio, as well as working in the hit West End musical ‘Bombay Dreams’, during which, he found the time to compose, produce and record his follow up album ‘Its All A Game’.
