Biography

Spaceships Are Cool create their own brand of SCI-FI SUNSHINE POP & RETRO FOLKTRONICA using theremins, stylophones, casio synths and glockenspiels to make music that sounds like your Super Nintendo made an LP! Highly recommended for fans of The Beta Band & The Flaming Lips.

Their debut EP has been in the US college radio charts & the band has been featured on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music and to date, SPACESHIPS have played live shows at loads of interesting nights and festivals including: GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, LIBERTY FESTIVAL (trafalgar square london), CMJ festival NYC, Nottingham's infamous 'RESCUE ROOMS', Birmingham NEC, and intimate acoustic gigs @ jam cafe, maltcross, and muse in Nottingham.

We are sometimes few, sometimes many!.... From solo acoustic shows, to 3 piece folktronica sets, to full 8 piece SCI-FI shows.
