Biography

Maracatudo Mafua stands for the rhythms and movements of Brazil's Northeast State of Brazil - Pernambuco. Having one of the most traditional maracatu groups , MARACATU NACAO CAMALEAO as a Godfather, they play the strong rhythms of Maracatu and the colourful beauty of Ciranda in songs that express the message and poetry of this fascinating region. Maracatudo Mafua debuted gig at Brazilian day festival/Carnival del Pueblo and are now ready to spread the love around. Having members from different countries Mafua is a mix of experiences and backgrounds that gives a different spice to it!
