Biography

Sam and his band of Wompers perform original high energy balkan, ska, dub and rave out material with a huge WOMP of gypsy dubstep for pudding. The band recently formed in September 2009 with the joining of Sam Ritchie's gypsy dub band QDOS with producer Aaron Audio. SAM AND THE WOMP have already performed at Islington O2 Academy, Standon Calling Festival, Notting Hill Arts Club, Hootananny, Scala, One Taste Festival, The Fridge, Ronnie Scotts and the BBC London Jazz Festival. The band's debut single BOM BOM is available NOW on the 'Balkan Fever London' compilation, freshly released on July 2nd by Green Queen Music. WOMP WOMP WOMP WOMP....
