AYER Y HOY (Peru)
Lalo Rivera (first guitar and base), Walter Conde (second guitar and first voice) and Felix Apolaya (Peruvian Cajon and second voice) were professional musicians in Peru before coming to the UK. Here they formed a Creole music trio. Their music includes the marineras, valses and other dancing rhythms from the coastal part of Peru, and incorporating Afro- Caribbean influences along with Cuban, and Central American tunes. (trio / quartet who can also perform with 2 Afro Peruvian dancers)
