2007 and beyond
In 2007 we planned 24 events featuring our Global Local
stages. The stage consists of 4-5 acts of the festival’s
chosen theme (dependent on availability).
The acts include music and dance for a wide cross section
of cultures. These are the kind of world class acts often found
at WOMAD festival. They have remixed their culture with the multiplicity
of sounds that breed and blend in cosmopolitan London.
The aim of this project is to create a sustainable model of
showcasing Global Local stage which can then be taken across
the UK and Nationwide.
