The Destroyers vs The Dhol blasters

The Destroyers vs The Dhol blasters Fifteen piece 'anarchic gypsy-punk orchestra', The Destroyers, stormed the festival circuit last summer from Glastonbury to Bestival. Close-up and dangerous, their dazzling playing, blazing passion for performance and combined musical influences create a swirling spectacle of sensation and sound. Whether on a festival stage or more intimate club setting, The Destroyers expend enough energy to light up a small town, leaving audiences ecstatic, exhausted and utterly destroyed. As one happy promoter said, imagine Borat meets the Prodigy.

This summer they go on the road with the legendary Bangra king, Gurcharan Mall and his team of dancers and drummers ‘The Dhol Blasters’. This collaboration, first developed as a one off performance for the reopening of Birmingham town hall, has now grown into a full length show, fusing The Destroyers uniquely eclectic sound with the raw energy and sheer joy of King Mall and his followers. Don’t miss this glorious and groundbreaking collaboration. An uplifting and awe inspiring carnival of music and dance!
