Radio Revolucion

Radio Revolucion play Latin, Reggae, Ska and Punk with elements of Jazz and strong influences of the London underground sounds like Drum n Bass and Dub. They mix their music with fiery lyrics in the name of conciousness and rebellion in the true spirit of their idols Joe Strummer and Manu Chao.

Originally created in 2004 by Jurgi, Ruth and Julian gigs in Berlin and at the Carnaval Del Pueblo in London followed. Last year drummer Christina and Trumpet player Rowan Porteous joined the band and they have since played in the Refugee on Films festival, at the Notting Hill Arts Club with Movimientos and alongside DJ Manu Chao himself at a recent secret party.
