Le-Pico

Erik Aldrey the man behind Le Picó, set his mark as part of the well-known Venezuelan funky band Los Amigos Invisibles (LAI). Erik couched and created their signature sound, earning with them a best Latin Rock Album nomination for the American Grammy’s. They also, worked together on various remixes for bands such as Beastie Boys, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Ely Guerra, David Byrne, Corner Shop and Soul Coughing among others. After moving to London, Erik started making music with a different approach that later became Le Picó: An amazing mix of old school Afro-Latin beats, electronic sounds and live instruments which can be heard on his latest album entitled Le Picó. Tracks from the album have been part of many important international compilation albums.
